Meyer sworn in; board reminds public that codes are online and two seats are open

David Meyer was sworn in at the start of the meeting, taking the oath to "support the constitution of the United States" and Illinois law and to faithfully discharge the duties of the office of zoning board/planning commissioner. The oath was signed and the signature was to be returned to the clerk.

Later in the meeting staff noted that the village's codes and ordinances have been moved online and are searchable by keyword, which should simplify lookups for members and applicants. Staff also announced two open seats on the zoning board and asked members to recommend potential candidates.

No formal appointments were made at this meeting; members were asked to raise names outside the meeting for future consideration. The board adjourned after those administrative items.
