Trustees hear updates on park work, road maintenance and a collapsed building on Main Street

Superintendent Gorsuch gave a multi-item operations update at the July 9 meeting. He said the park project is completed aside from potential follow-up seeding and that work to oil-and-chip village roads would begin the next day. He reported a sinkhole on Main Street had been repaired.
Gorsuch also said the roof of a dilapidated building on Main Street had collapsed; according to the minutes, the owners will demolish the building. Trustees noted several memorial tables in the park are in disrepair and discussed replacing the tables and obtaining new plaques to preserve associated memorials.
