Lynn (speaker 4) explained the vendor already provides crisis coverage in the area and that the county would receive after-hours intake paperwork each morning to support outreach and engagement. "The cost of this contract would be $72,710," Lynn said, adding that prior arrangements had cost more and the county currently budgeted for this amount. Lynn noted the change was prompted in part by the retirement of a long-serving worker who had handled after-hours coverage.
Members discussed whether to issue an RFP; Chair (speaker 1) said an RFP would likely cost more and several members supported moving forward with the established Goodwill relationship. A motion to approve carried without recorded opposition.
