County to reopen closed 391st Street West bridge after awarding repair contract

"Lee Barrier, on behalf of public works, recommend to accept the low bid from Don Linger and Sons Construction Company Inc in the amount of $437,643," Barrier said on the record. The board moved, seconded and approved the motion by roll call.
Public Works said the bridge is currently closed due to unsafe conditions; the repair project is intended to allow the structure to be reopened once work is complete. The meeting record did not include a project schedule or expected reopening date.
The board approved the contract award; follow-up will occur through Project Services and Public Works during procurement and construction phases.
