Board approves ESRI ArcGIS maintenance contract after price-note; staff cited wide county use

Lee Garrier told the board that ESRI is the county’s primary geospatial platform and outlined the user base and technical role. "ESRI Incorporated is the primary desktop and enterprise software used to maintain geospatial databases," Garrier said. Board members noted the price increase from the previous year but raised no substantive questions. A motion to accept the ESRI quote passed on roll-call vote; meeting audio/transcript records a discrepancy between the amount quoted by staff ($52,990) and the figure read aloud during the motion, which listed $522,990. The transcript did not resolve which numeric figure is final; staff documentation attached to the agenda lists $52,990 as the recommended procurement amount.
The board recorded ayes by roll call and carried the motion.
