Board elects slate of officers for 2026 via secret ballot

At the Jan. 15 meeting the board adopted a nominated slate for its 2026 officers rather than holding separate votes for each post. Mike O'Donnell proposed the slate and Aaron LeBlanc seconded the motion to present the slate to members.
Charles, the planning and development director, explained the ballots are secret — members mark yes or no on a paper ballot while nominations remain public. After ballots were collected the clerk announced the slate had been approved.
The slate as proposed nominated Dustin Brown for chair, Linda Burke for vice chair and Charity Campfield for secretary. The board did not disclose individual ballot choices; the clerk reported the slate was approved after tallying.
