Staff member Andy Lein told the committee that having space in the district’s O&M building has made routine maintenance much easier and that air-compressor piping was updated. He said, “we had a few hiccups at the beginning of the school year with battery failures in some of our large buses. This has been resolved.”
Lein reported an ongoing problem in which ABS tone rings were disconnecting from wheel-hub assemblies; the district is working to determine the cause and complete repairs. No service disruptions were reported for the current routes at the meeting, and staff did not propose route changes or additional fleet purchases at this time.
