The general manager (speaker 3) told the board that GSI performed groundwater testing in the community and that depth calculations were available immediately; the chemical concentration results are expected in about a month. The testing was presented as part of the district's technical information to inform system sizing and environmental review.
The board did not receive concentration numbers at the May 14 meeting; staff said they will include those results in future packet materials and in the May 28 discussion if available. Public commenters asked the board to examine those test results closely when comparing options and when considering whether to require immediate connection for properties in phases 1 and 2 identified in the Stantec plan.
