Committee member (speaker 4) moved the recommendation to set a hearing and direct staff to publish notice; committee member (speaker 7) seconded. The board set the hearing for June 11 at 6 p.m. during a roll-call vote. The general manager (speaker 3) reported that the district’s current cash balance is a little over $480,000 and confirmed that a $75,000 grant has been received and is in the district’s bank account. Staff said they will update the draft budget figures before publishing the mandatory legal notices.
