Leahy said the tow truck driver told her the trailer would be towed, that Officer Allen asked 'Where is your VIN number on here?' and later "told the driver to get her stuff off the trailer and put it on her lawn," after she asked deputies to wait. She said the deputy arrived two minutes after the truck left.
Leahy said she has supplied the interim city manager with a formal complaint packet and photos and asked the council to be aware. The presiding official responded that the council could not act tonight but that Michaelson had received her information and staff would follow up. "He's like, I don't care. I don't care. I'm tired of dealing with you," Leahy told the council as she recounted her exchange with the code enforcement officer.
