The presiding official read the change order details on the record: the original late cancellation fee was $6,960 (48 hours at $145/hour) and Tyler was able to reduce that to $3,190 representing 22 hours at $145/hour after reallocating work. "The new amount after Tyler's efforts to recover the hours lost is $3,190, which is 22 hours times a $145 rate," the presiding official said. Commissioners discussed scheduling, coordination with the auditor's office and whether some meetings could be conducted remotely before moving to approve the charge.
The court voted to approve the change order and instructed staff to continue coordinating with the vendor and internal project liaisons to stay on schedule for the planned go‑live dates.
