Advisory-board member Susan Racchi, who said she has served on the IHSS advisory committee for nearly 20 years, praised caregivers' contributions to community resilience and urged continued county support. Several advisory members referenced two recent county publications — the Solano Master Plan for Aging and Disability and an older-adults resource guide — as tools to help residents access services.
Supervisors accepted the resolution by roll call 5-0 and invited caregivers and advisory-board members to be recognized in a post-meeting photo.
