Ottawa County health director outlines 2025 budget; salary reallocations to be discussed

Hodges said she will coordinate with the County Treasurer to reallocate salary funds where appropriate and noted that some expense categories, such as training and conference costs, are heavier in the spring and lighter in the fall.
Hodges and the commissioners did not adopt budget changes at the meeting; she indicated she will follow up with the treasurer to propose specific reallocations for future consideration.
