The Chatom Union School District Board of Trustees on Feb. 10 accepted two employee resignations and approved several new hires following closed-session consideration.
The board approved the resignations listed as #02-10-26-01 and #02-10-26-02 and then confirmed appointments including Maria Perez as a 4-hour ELOP custodian, Rayona Merrill as Food Service III, Case Pacheco as a 5th grade teacher and Rachel Berry as an hourly home/hospital teacher (as needed). The appointments were approved by motions that carried 5-0. The board also gave the superintendent authority, under board direction, to accept resignations and to post and hire for a Resource/Math Intervention teacher and a Resource/Special Education teacher.
