The Jerseyville City Council met Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, at City Hall and unanimously approved the minutes of its Jan. 7 regular meeting and the bills presented for payment. Commissioner John Miles moved to approve the minutes; Commissioner Anthony Steckel seconded. The council approved bills totaling $452,930.26 on a roll call vote with all present members voting aye.
Mayor Kevin Stork presided; Commissioners Anthony Steckel, Steve Pohlman and John Miles were present. Commissioner Zachary Crawford and City Attorney William Strang were absent. City Clerk Denise Hayes took minutes. The meeting included routine business, several consent motions and announcements about upcoming community registration deadlines before the council entered a closed session to discuss litigation and later adjourned at 6:27 p.m.
