The Jerseyville City Council convened Nov. 25, 2025, and approved the minutes from its Nov. 10 meeting and bills totaling $760,355.27. Commissioner Anthony Steckel noted the bill total included two invoices from the Illinois Department of Transportation for previously completed projects.
The council voted unanimously on a string of routine items, including approval of a TIF Advisory Board recommendation for a downtown façade grant and the appointment of a new TIF board member. Mayor Kevin Stork used the meeting to announce upcoming community events and closures; Director of Public Works Manns issued a winter weather alert for the coming week. The council went into closed session to discuss a contract negotiation and returned with no action taken before adjourning at 6:07 p.m.
