Trappe approves reimbursable grant agreement with Little League for Home Run Baker Park field

Town Attorney Lyndsey Ryan reported that Talbot County Council has approved and signed a Joint-Use Agreement for the Home Run Baker Park softball field and that the Town needs a reimbursable grant agreement with the Little League to define responsibilities and fund administration. "They have reviewed the agreement and are ready to move forward with it," said Nick Newnam, President of the Little League.
President Newnam moved to approve the Town’s reimbursable grant agreement with the Little League and Commissioner Walter Chase seconded; the Council voted unanimously to approve. The reimbursable grant agreement will govern how grant funds are administered and the responsibilities of both parties, and the Town will now sign the Joint-Use Agreement with the County as part of the project record.
