Iroquois County BOH approves January claims, appoints staff liaison and OKs interim assistant stipend

The Iroquois County Public Health Department Board of Health approved a claims listing for January 2026 and took several personnel actions during its Feb. 3 meeting.
Board member Lyle Behrends moved to approve the January claims; Dr. Daniele Milazzo seconded. The motion passed on a roll-call vote with all recorded members voting Aye: Dr. Phillip Zumwalt, Jolene Foster, Lyle Behrends, Dr. Daniele Milazzo, Dr. Jacqueline Yu, Dr. Rodney Yergler and LuAnn Armantrout.
Later in the meeting the board appointed Dr. Rodney Yergler as the Board of Health staff liaison. The appointment motion was made by Lyle Behrends, seconded by LuAnn Armantrout, and approved by voice vote.
The board also approved a temporary weekly stipend of $100 to compensate an interim executive assistant while staff member Tyler Robinson is on family medical leave. The stipend motion was made by Dr. Rodney Yergler, seconded by Dr. Jacqueline Yu, and approved by roll-call vote with the same seven members recorded as voting Aye.
No dissenting votes or abstentions were recorded in the meeting minutes for these items. The board’s formal votes and motions appear in the meeting record and were reflected in the roll-call results recorded in the minutes.
