Board adopts Appropriations Ordinance; garbage fee increase slated next month

The Village of Industry Board of Trustees voted to approve the Appropriations Ordinance after holding a public hearing that drew no public comment. Trustee Thompson moved to approve the ordinance as amended; Trustee Murray seconded and a roll-call vote carried the motion.
Trustees also noted there will be an ordinance next month to increase garbage fees. The board instructed Attorney Laegeler to prepare a resolution to adopt a Return-to-Work policy, a separate personnel matter to be handled by resolution at a later meeting.
