Village accepts $85,433 MB Construction bid for water meter replacements

Doug of Benton & Associates presented the bid tabulation and told the board that four bids were received and that Midwest Meter has the majority of the replacement meters ready. Benton recommended accepting MB Construction's low bid; MB Construction indicated it could start work immediately. The board recorded the formal acceptance in old business.
