Vernonia board adopts $14.98 million 2026-27 budget, sets tax rate

Business Manager Marie Knight, who presented the financial report, said the district’s estimated ending fund balance is $165,000, matching what was budgeted. The board also approved Resolution 2026-06 to transfer appropriations within the 2025-26 budget to cover higher support services/ESD charges. Lisa Curry moved to approve Resolution 2026-05; Tony Holmes seconded and the motion passed unanimously with those in attendance.
