Durham commissioners name members to boards and councils

At the April 27 meeting the board announced selections to fill vacancies on local boards and advisory bodies.
Attorney Williamson reported the boards selections: Cynthia Burns for the Board of Equalization and Review; Wendy McManus Abram for the Durham Tourism Development Authority; Randy Sauls and Edward M. Webb Jr. for the Durham Wake County Research and Production Service District Advisory Committee; and Kamaya Mullen for the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council. Chair Lee congratulated the appointees and commissioners expressed appreciation for their willingness to serve.
Commissioner Jacobs, who serves on Discover Durham, noted the high quality of applicants for the tourism authority seat and encouraged applicants to remain engaged for future openings.
