Amy Pryor, chair of the Health Advisory Committee, opened the meeting and summarized its purpose: "My name is Amy Pryor, and we are convening for the health advisory committee, and review of, some curriculum." The committee reviewed suggested edits to the virtual health course vocabulary and slide deck and agreed that most suggested changes were appropriate.
After line‑by‑line review and discussion about wording, members moved to forward the updated course to the academic committee. Pryor made the motion to recommend the virtual course, with the committee's approved edits, for the academic committee to consider at its next meeting; the motion was seconded and passed by raised‑hand agreement. Committee members asked that the academic committee be informed of the specific wording changes that HAC approved.
