Jackson County approved Order No. 193-26 on July 15 to authorize a Facility Access and Cost Sharing Agreement with Rogue Waste Systems, LLC. Senior Deputy County Administrator Joel Benton explained the two organizations share space at the Jackson County Wellness Center to provide medical services to eligible employees and dependents and that both maintain separate agreements with CareATC to provide those services.
Benton said the arrangement "reduces the County’s facility expenditures including maintenance, repairs, and necessary capital outlay." Commissioner Randy Sparacino moved to approve the order; Commissioner Colleen Roberts seconded. The board voted aye (Sparacino, Roberts, Dyer) and the motion passed unanimously.
