Board awards airport apron rehabilitation contract to Knife River Materials

The Board of Commissioners approved Order No. 192-26 on July 15, 2026, authorizing a public improvement contract with LTM, Incorporated dba Knife River Materials for rehabilitation and reconstruction of the Corporate Apron at Rogue Valley International–Medford Airport. Joel Benton told the board that an Invitation to Bid was published in local trade publications on April 8, 2026, and posted to the county website on April 7, 2026.
Benton said that "LTM, Incorporated dba Knife River Materials submitted the sole bid, is qualified to perform the work, and should be awarded the Contract." Commissioner Colleen Roberts moved to approve Order No. 192-26; Commissioner Randy Sparacino seconded. Commissioners Roberts, Sparacino and Chair Rick Dyer voted aye and the motion passed unanimously. The order was entered as Order No. 192-26 in the minutes.
