James Cook updated the council on Well 4R, reporting the well "is producing better than expected and based on the production numbers provides the Town will approximately 96 additional EDUs." He said GMB engineer Katherine McAllister confirmed the numbers and submitted her recommendation letter. The council voted to grant conditional approval to add the 96 EDUs, effective upon issuance of a Certificate of Potability for Well 4R and written confirmation from GMB that the well is operational and integrated into the water treatment plant.
Cook also told the council the chemical storage building tied to the project has an 8–12 week lead time and is expected to be completed in January or February; Katherine requested a letter from Rauch stating the chemical storage building will be done by March 1. The council recorded the condition and approved the conditional capacity recognition unanimously.
