City will run farmers market on Thursdays at Lions Park; staff outline logistics

Staff acknowledged some vendors and patrons prefer a Saturday market but said moving to Thursday evenings may attract people who can visit after work. "We're not going to have that [grow-locally] rule. If they've got produce, people want produce, bring it in and offer it to the people to sell," Eric said, noting the city will not restrict vendors to a narrow geographic radius.
