SCOE hires three staff; HR outlines provisional certificate rules

Garcia said two hires came from SCO substitute positions and one was appointed via EdJoin.
Trustee Dean asked for clarification about provisional internship permits and what is required for temporary certificates. "There are requirements for the PIP or the STIP. They have a certain time frame in which they have to meet those," Garcia said, adding that failure to make progress would preclude continuation to the next certificate. The HR report closed without further questions; trustees thanked staff for the information.
