Staff reported a contractor (Kramer Construction) estimated the slab replacement would cost about "$5,500 to $5,600," contingent on what is found during work. The committee agreed to meet with staff and grant contacts and to return to the board with a recommendation if the project fits the grant requirements.
Members also said they would try to limit spending beyond the grant amount if possible and that two residents who frequently use playground equipment were assisting with vendor assessment.
