Fayette County approves $215,000 youth case‑management contract and related workforce agreements

The Fayette County Board of Commissioners on May 11 approved three contracts with Workforce Services Unlimited, Inc. to support local workforce and youth services beginning July 1, 2026. Per the motion presented at the request of Faye Williamson, Director of the Fayette County Department of Job and Family Services, the board approved a Comprehensive Case Management Employment Program (CCMEP) contract to serve eligible youth ages 14 to 24 with a maximum payable amount not to exceed $215,000, funded by WIOA and TANF resources.
In the same action the board approved a contract for management, staffing and oversight at the OhioMeansJobs Center for $193,000 (July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027) funded through special project allocations and a separate WIOA consulting services contract at $47,000 funded by WIOA. All three motions passed on unanimous roll call after being moved and seconded by commissioners. The contracts and their full terms are on file in the commissioners’ office.
