Calumet County veterans commission elects Elliott chair, Mueller vice chair and sets monthly meeting schedule

The Calumet County Veterans Service Commission on May 19 elected Dave Elliott as chair and Joe Mueller as vice chair and approved its regular meeting schedule.
The meeting opened at 10:01 a.m. with a recorded quorum. "MOTION by J. Mueller for Dave Elliott as Chair and SECONDED by R. Dietrich to approve Dave Elliot as Chair of this Committee. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY," the minutes state. A subsequent motion to elect Joe Mueller as vice chair also carried unanimously.
Members approved the May 19 agenda by motion of Ron Dietrich, seconded by Joe Mueller. The commission established that regular meetings will be held on the third Wednesday of every month; CVSO Michelle Wynveen said meetings will be canceled if there are no agenda items in accordance with Open Meetings Law.
The commission scheduled its next meeting for June 17, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. and adjourned at 10:22 a.m.
