Planning/Economic Development Coordinator Pam Fechter told Council that the applicant for rezoning 17.7 acres on the west side of Nagel Road is exploring alternatives to the advertised C‑4 classification but had not formally amended the proposal as of the May 4 work session. The Council was reminded the second reading is slated for May 11 and a public hearing will be held May 26 at 7:25 p.m.
Fechter said the administration met with the applicant prior to the meeting and confirmed "as of that evening, nothing had formally changed and the Ordinance was proceeding as written on the agenda." Council raised no questions during the work session about the item, which will return for the scheduled readings and hearing.
