These improvements aim to make the playground safer and more inclusive for children of varying abilities.
Ms. Beres said plans include constructing a pavilion at Every Child's Playground (and another at Eagle Point Park) to provide shelter and gathering space for users. "The addition of adaptive equipment, including a flex swing and an adaptive zip-line seat, broadens accessibility and appeal," the minutes state. The Committee discussed how these installations and the pavilion would support family use and community programming.
