The Raleigh Planning and Zoning Commission approved the Martinez on Dalrock final plat, a 1.33-acre single-lot development at 7400 Dalrock Road in the City of Rowlett. Senior Planner Liliana Morijon told commissioners the lot (Block A, Lot 1) sits in an SF-8 zoning district and that the Board of Adjustment previously granted a variance on May 13 to permit direct access from a Type B thoroughfare. "Staff recommends approval of this final plat," Morijon said.
Commissioners asked whether there were plans to further subdivide the parcel; staff replied there are no plans to subdivide. The commission moved to approve the plat and the motion passed by a recorded hand vote of seven in favor, zero opposed. The approval allows the final plat to be forwarded for the city’s recordation and subsequent development steps subject to any administrative conditions the city requires.
