Board approves $3.3 million GMP and issues notice to proceed for LR Green field project

Director Roy Nakamura told trustees the project is being phased and the field portion is anticipated to be ready "by the end of summer." Both the GMP and the notice-to-proceed motions passed 5-0.
Why it matters: the project creates new athletic and after-school facilities (including restrooms and shaded hard courts) to support school programs and community use. The board approved the GMP and authorized staff to instruct the contractor to begin on the defined work packages.
