County Manager Jordan Barela said the Restricted Housing Report contains personal identifying information (PII) and was intentionally omitted from the public packet. He said state law requires the Commission to review and approve the confidential report before it is forwarded to New Mexico Counties and the New Mexico Department of Corrections.
Commissioners noted this is a routine compliance step rather than a policy change. Minimal discussion followed and the Commission approved the report to meet statutory requirements.
Staff will forward the approved report to the required agencies in compliance with state rules.
