The Board of Control met April 27 and approved two procurement actions reported to the council.
First, the board approved payment of $16,427.96 to American Safe and Vault Service from the Permanent Improvement Fund (260) to cover a yearly subscription and to open a purchase order for $14,949.06. Board members approved the motion 5–0.
Second, the Service Department requested $15,000 for outside municipal tree removals and crane services to handle large trees the in‑house crew cannot remove. The board approved that request, $15,000 to TAMCO Tree Service from the general fund, by a 5–0 vote.
The Board of Control report was delivered to the committee for the record; both items were described as routine operating requests to ensure capacity for large storm response and equipment needs.
