The Town Board discussed a proposal from the parks manager to allow limited wood harvesting at specified locations to clear fallen trees and manage trails. Supervisor Frasier outlined sketches showing 20–30-foot buffer zones from the woods' edge at Time Warp Park, trail access areas to be carried out by wheelbarrow in constrained sections, and a rear wooded portion of Godfrey Park suggested for limited cutting.
Council members asked the town attorney to review safeguards and recommended procedures, and the board agreed to return the item for final approval ahead of the upcoming season. No formal adoption of harvesting rules occurred at the meeting; the attorney will provide language for the next agenda.
