Kingsbury County adopts ordinance setting procedures to lift burn bans

The ordinance specifies that removal of the burn ban will be publicly announced through official county communication channels.
The board adopted Ordinance No. 76 on a roll-call vote (motion by Troy Nelson, second by Steve Spilde); Commissioners Lee, Spilde, Walls, Lundquist and Nelson each voted aye. The ordinance is scheduled to take effect 20 days after its publication, and the minutes state that conflicting ordinances are repealed.
