County Administrator Dee Rentmeister told the DeWitt County Finance Committee on Dec. 15 that two agenda items involving payments to Paramedic Services, Inc. and to the Farmer City Fire Protection District must be held until an addendum to the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) is received from the Fire Protection District’s attorney. Rentmeister said the State’s Attorney indicated both the addendum and the existing agreement reference both parties and should be acted on together.
The committee made no motion to approve payments while the addendum is pending and agreed to return the items when the Farmer City Fire Protection District’s attorney supplies the document. No dollar amounts or payment schedules were specified in the minutes.
