Board approves claims and payroll, adjourns Oct. 6 meeting

At the close of the Oct. 6 meeting, the Village of Denton Board of Trustees approved vendor claims and payroll and adjourned.
On motion by Doug Rosekrans, seconded by Amanda Fangmeier, the board approved Claims List A totaling $7,650.40, Claims List B totaling $4,095.08 and September payroll of $15,652.27. The meeting adjourned at 8:46 p.m., and Clerk-Treasurer Charlotte TeBrink certified the minutes.
Claims List A included expenditures such as WRT $1,395.91 (treatment), Capital Overhead Door $1,237.46 (shop door repair), Norris Public Power $979.16 (electricity) and NE HHS Labs $404.00 (radium/coliform testing). List B included tax payments to IRS and state and the payroll total as recorded in the minutes.
