The Preble County Board of Zoning Appeals approved a one-year Temporary Use Permit on May 26 allowing shed sales and indoor retail of outdoor equipment at 2063 Halderman Road in Gasper Township.
Applicant Hannah Long said the retail space is in a detached building and that operations are run by her and her husband; hours listed were 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday–Friday and 8 a.m.–3 p.m. Saturday. “They’re 8:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday and then 8:00 to 3:00 on Saturdays,” Long said. The board approved Case 5763 under Section 816.03(O) for one year and reminded the applicant about obtaining a Certificate of Occupancy if needed.
Staff noted coordination with building inspection and Brittany in the zoning office regarding occupancy paperwork.
