The Preble County Board of Zoning Appeals on May 26 renewed a Temporary Use Permit for an auto repair business operating at 1803 Camden Road in Washington Township.
Applicant Michael Brubaker told the board his son runs the repair business on the 89.635-acre parcel and does not plan any changes. “Just like to continue to use the building for auto repair,” Brubaker said. The board voted to approve Case 5750 under Section 816.03, Letter O, for a two-year period; the roll call vote was Curtis Caplinger, Yes; Mike Henning, Yes; Kimberly Craft, Yes.
The board noted there have been no known complaints on file and that renewals for longstanding businesses are common when evidence supports continued operation. The approval carries the board’s expectation that the operation comply with applicable use and sign requirements.
