Jasmine Presenkowski, program manager for the Heritage Home Loan program, told the committee the program expanded outreach in 2025, connecting with "over 288 homeowners" and completing 64 site visits, with 13 loans signed last year. She said the work includes phone outreach, site visits and technical-assistance follow-ups that help homeowners find contractors and review estimates.
"In 2026 to date, we've spoken to 38 people. We've had 3 site visits and 11 loans signed this year already," Presenkowski said, noting that early-year activity is usually lower and that summer months typically bring more demand. When asked about eligibility, she said the program covers houses built in 1976 or earlier. Council members and the chair praised the local uptake and encouraged continued partnership with staff to reach additional homeowners.
