"We've eliminated roughly 80% of them for a $10,000 investment in that fence," Holt said, noting the fence lowered police calls and that recent trespassing near the bridge followed a local fatality. He urged a focused effort to prevent another tragedy.
The council took public comment under advisement and moved on to the agenda; no formal action on these specific requests was taken during this meeting.
