The Energy Committee reviewed solar-assessment work and identified candidate locations in Northfield, including a church parking lot singled out by Brian Sodders as especially promising.
Jim VanNatta reported he "has reached back out to PV2 to get updated" information, and the committee noted a solar assessment by the Clean Energy Extension exists and will be shared with Brian. Members asked staff to assemble the assessment materials so the committee can evaluate technical feasibility and potential project phasing.
Next steps include circulating the Clean Energy Extension report and awaiting updated vendor information from PV2 to refine site-level analysis and cost estimates.
