Resolution lists water, sewer and telecom extensions needed if Wall Road land is annexed

The draft resolution describing services for the proposed Wall Road Development annexation gives specific infrastructure notes that would shape any future development. On water it states that a water main will need to be extended along Mount Eaton Road or Rittman Road (Mount Eaton appearing to be the shorter route) and that looping the water line in the future would provide better redundancy and fire flow; the city's practice is generally that developers install mains and turn them over to the city upon acceptance.

Electric service notes that three-phase primary exists at the intersection of Wall and Rittman Roads and that FirstEnergy currently has facilities running to Wall Road; the draft says electric facilities may be extended and that fees for extension are the developer's responsibility. Telecommunications (CityLink) will need extension most likely from the Mount Eaton Road area; the draft specifies there is no charge for CityLink to install facilities to serve residential annexations. On sewer the resolution lists the Wadsworth Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) capacity as 5 MGD (peak daily flow 10 MGD, current average about 3.75 MGD) and says an additional sanitary trunk line is likely needed, preferably routed to use gravity toward the WWTP. The draft also notes a 42" sanitary line runs along the south property line but may be too deep for access. It recommends a traffic impact study and secondary access, and says stormwater flow control and treatment will be required.
