Trustees approve March minutes, vouchers and discuss fines amnesty plans

The White Pine County Library Board of Trustees conducted routine administrative business at the April 7 meeting, approving minutes, vouchers and hearing an update on fine-clearing plans.
Trustee Trey O'Brien moved to approve the March 3, 2026 minutes; Trustee Diane Hansen seconded and the motion was approved by the trustees present. Vouchers totaling $7,330.44 for March 3–April 7, 2026 were signed and approved after a motion from Diane Hansen and a second from Trey O'Brien. Director Lori Romero reported that fine-clearing work is ongoing and staff are planning amnesty events to help patrons clear fines, with another update scheduled for the May meeting. The meeting adjourned at 5:15 P.M.; Trey O'Brien moved to adjourn and Diane Hansen seconded.
