The Planning Board voted 4–0 Aug. 5 to approve a five‑unit multifamily redevelopment at 9 Dalton Street following applicant agreement to reconcile plan details and staff acceptance of several modifications.
"This is a multifamily low rise structure, 5 units," attorney Todd Broder said during the presentation. Staff (Steve Carey) confirmed the project requires site plan review because it contains five units and recommended standard conditions including a concrete sidewalk with granite curbing; the applicant and staff agreed to strike or revise conditions b, c, g and i and to reconcile architectural and planting details prior to building permit submittal.
The applicant previously received zoning board relief to reduce parking from 10 to 9 spaces. The board recorded a unanimous vote after discussion about materials and landscaping.
