Commissioners approve Public Works and Road & Bridge budgets, defer salary decisions
Summary
After presentations by county engineers and superintendents, the Board approved the Public Works and Road & Bridge requested budgets with Salaries and Benefits to be determined later; votes were unanimous.
Ken Muller (County Engineer), Mark Reid (County Planner) and Travis Traub (Road & Bridge Superintendent) presented the requested budgets for Public Works and Road & Bridge and answered questions from the Board. Commissioner Mike Arzy moved to approve the Public Works budget as requested except for Salaries and Benefits; Commissioner Holly Jennings moved to approve the Road & Bridge budget with the same exception.
Both motions passed unanimously. The minutes record that Salaries and Benefits for these departments remain undecided and will be addressed at a subsequent Board action or meeting.
